SEXPOSED é um evento anual que apresenta artistas que se identificam com o sexo feminino e que defendem o empowerment das mulheres, apresentando trabalhos focados na diversidade feminina e na positividade do corpo, sexo e sexualidade, liberdade de fetiche e a disrupção das disposições sociais em torno do abuso, do assédio e das desigualdades de género.

A decorrer no espaço LA-UP Gallery em Los Angesles, SEXPOSED 2019, é mais do que uma exposição das obras selecionadas pela curadoria e vai ser palco também de workshops participativos e de um programa diversificado de eventos para incentivar todos os que visitam a envolverem-se.

A organização destina sempre uma parte das receitas para doação a organizações que, neste âmbito fazem, diariamente, um trabalho incrível: este ano, SEXPOSED 2019 beneficiará RAINN, que abriga a linha direta nacional dos EUA para apoio a vítimas de agressão sexual providenciando-lhes recursos certamente muito necessários ao trabalho que desenvolvem.
