São 23 desenhos e 1 'peça virtual' que se inserem num já extenso grupo de trabalhos que tenho vindo a produzir e que, entre eles, partilham na sua génese, a ideia de 'pedra'. O processo inicia-se sempre com imagens que fotografo, que são depois editadas, transferidas e intervencionadas. Os trabalhos agrupam-se em séries que adotam o nome dos locais dessas pedras. ​

'Sítios do Risco' porque as imagens foram captadas na Arrábida, algures na Serra e junto à Ribeira com o mesmo nome que, por sua vez, é indissociável de um conjunto de significados que muito se adequam ao desafio que ali me levou... desde logo, a óbvia relação da palavra 'risco' com o traçar convencional de um desenho mas, também, a noção de arriscar, de ficar exposto.​

Os desenhos desta série foram produzidos na sequência do convite da 'Terceira Pessoa' para integrar a plataforma 'IN LOCO' com duas criações virtuais - uma situada na área de Setúbal e a outra, decorrente de uma residência artística, em Penha Garcia - e em que, em ambas, além dos objectos virtuais' resultaram também desenhos sobre papel.

There are 23 drawings and 1 “virtual piece” that are part of an already extensive group of works that I have been producing and which, among themselves, share the idea of “stone” in their genesis. The process always begins with images that I photograph, which are then edited, transferred and manipulated. The works are grouped into series that adopt the names of the locations of these stones.

“Sítios do Risco” (Places of Risk) because the images were captured in Arrábida, somewhere in the mountains and next to the stream of the same name, which, in turn, is inseparable from a set of meanings that are very appropriate to the challenge that led me there... Firstly, the obvious relationship between the word “risk” and the conventional tracing of a drawing, but also the notion of taking a risk, of being exposed.​​

The drawings in this series were produced following an invitation from “Terceira Pessoa” to join the “IN LOCO” platform with two virtual creations - one located in the Setúbal area and the other, resulting from an artistic residency in Penha Garcia - in which, in addition to the virtual objects, drawings on paper were also produced.
