Patrícia Magalhães (Luanda, Angola, 1966), lives and works in Lisbon. She studied drawing and painting at the Lisbon School of Fine Arts and at ArCo – Center for Art & Visual Communication, also in Lisbon. She considers herself as multidisciplinary visual artist, with a body of work mainly centered on drawing where contamination with other areas is quite visible, namely painting, engraving, sculpture or photography, as well as a diversity of media and scales that she determines for each work. Her work is represented in collections such as the Fundação Bienal Artes de Cerveira and the University of Lisbon, among others.
